One special gift that I received for my silver birthday came from my dear pamangkin UNO! Though I'm sure it was his mom's choice. =)

I love it not only because I am really into books but also because it came into my life at the perfect time. Just the kind of an inspirational material I need nowadays. I hope to finish it this holiday season but I guess, more than just finishing it, I really hope I could apply each concept into my own life.

* a collection of short but inspiring stories, narrating and explaining how God's words and promises transform people's lives in so many different and wondrous ways *

Books continue to love me as I received another 2 inspirational books this Christmas from my sisters! I feel so blessed. I really got excited because I left in NZ all my favorites and I did not have the time nor the budget to buy new ones since I got home.

I always believed that BOOKS are one of the best gift ideas. Also, now i truly believe that things around us, even the material ones hold some kind of an energy and sometimes we have to let them go so that new things, new energies can come into our lives, evading stagnation. =p

Once I've finished 'em all, I'll get back to you, promise OR remind me. =p I am really looking forward to finishing them to be equip for GOOD YEAR 2010!

All Love,

Miss Sachi

as in EMERGENCY...

Last Sunday, I finally had the courage to avail a PEDICURE service! I was afraid I'll be addicted to it and yes, I'm hooked. As a matter of fact I'm thinking of a nice color to wear next week for our office Christmas party and I'm planning to buy some chic slippers and open-toes shoes. I find it so sexy and chic!

But... I still hate nail files! I can just imagine or hear my nails scratching a blackboard! wee... so hate it. Also, I'm not yet ready to remove all my 'ingrown', just the upper portion. Before, I do my own nail cleaning but since time is of the essence, I decided to just avail a very affordable & acceptable service @ Php 50.00! =p

Just like with make-ups, DID YOU KNOW THAT I used to do my own pedicure, color it and even used nippers when I was in grade school! Yup, you heard me right but studies and other matters got in our way. =) But now, I'm gaining my interest with it once more.

♥ ♥ ♥
FF [fast forward] 2 days. I decided to wear a pair of slippers just to flaunt my newly pedicured toes! Came Tuesday, I still wore the same pair even though its too old. I had it since college, for pete's sake! =) Can you guess what happened next?!

FASHION EMERGENCY – the strap suddenly spaced out! Oh no! Thank goodness it was lunch time when it happened and not in the middle of an important workshop I was attending the whole day! Thanks to my being friendly also, hehe... but kidding aside, thanks to Age, my co berkies, she lent me a pair of nice step-in so that I can buy a pair @ a nearby SM (thank God again). =p So, my day was saved. So grateful! My bonus for almost being crazy about this fashion emergency... TA-DA....

REAL NICE PAIRS @ VERY AFFORDABLE PRICES
Just the colors I like and Just the styles I'm planning to buy! So perfect!

All Love,
Miss Sachi

♥ Blasting Spending! ♥

I've been off line for the longest time but my ATM/wallet isn't. =) Know what I'm talking about? Spending, eversince I got back from the country my spending has not stopped. What's worse is, it'll continue up to early 2010 (i feel it, considering mom's birthday, all-girl bonding @ Laoag and my return to NZ).

What kept me and my pocket busy for the past weeks...

Watching the movie 2012 with bru at Gateway. Pig-out @ Burgoo and Jollibee! hehe...
Our PLDT landline has been unserviceable since Ondoy. It was a very unpleasant surprise for me! That is also one of the reasons why I was not able to do my blog stuff. IM TRULY VERY DISAPPOINTED to their service this time. For the first week, I spent 1,000.00 pesos for the prepaid broadband alone! I could have saved big bucks only if we had our line and I used a prepaid internet card instead.

I bought some additions to my collections – SNOWGLOBES. Just can't resist the temptation.

Friday night is barkada night! Berkies Ji, Davy and Cel invited me to watch New Moon with them at Robinsons Galleria. I suddenly missed Lovey. I do not have a bodyguard anymore. For the longest time, I went home late at night, ALONE again. =( The brighter side is that I'm now a SINGLE LADY! hehehe... Having a good time. Having fun. Enjoying youth. All these while nourishing and tightening friendships! Just a clarification: I'm may be living like a single lady right now but my heart isn't. She has found her lifetime pair just 2 years ago! =)

I spent my weekend scouting for new clothes since I only brought few when I got back. I ended up buying some casual T-shirts @ MANGO. My very firsts and probably one of my most expensive shirts/brands. I LAVETT! Truly there is a big difference between the 'real' ones and the imitations. I love the material used! So cool, smooth and soft!

Straight from Trinoma I headed to Jobimate's/mareng Noreen's surprise overnight bridal shower held at our all-time fave Malayan Plaza Hotel. The room is clean and big enough for 3,500.00 pesos. Sulit! Plus the skynight view, it was very good.

Again, straight from Malayan Hotel, I joined my sisters at their house tripping @ Imus Cavite. Some are nice, some aren't but I think we found a place for us! =p Yipeee, I'll tell you about it soon!

Monday holiday is Bonifacio day and National Heroes' Day. We went to Landmark and Glorietta Makati and I went home with 5 pairs of pants at a very friendly cost. I also bought my BDJ planner at Powerbooks. Good heavens! It cost me 598.00 pesos. It was only my 2nd time to buy it and I do not and cannot deny the fact that it is really beautiful, flavorful and useful but considering how hard these times are, 598.00 pesos is already something! So next year, I'll make my own planner for 2011... hahaha. Actually, I already created a lay-out for my 2010 planner but unfortunately my laptop broke down and up to now, my files are there, stucked.

The money drain continues this coming weekend as I celebrate my 25th birthday/Berk's Christmas Party at Tagaytay. Too bad I cannot join bru and her friends @ EK. Some other time, maybe.

After this weekend, I'll put my focus on housing, new investments, charity works, Christmas shopping and endless bondings! Blogworld, I'm sad because Lovey is not with me and it will take some time before we see each other again but I'm doing the best I can to be just fine and to be able to do something worthwhile in my life less a bodyguard, protector, big fan and financier. =p

All Love,

Miss Sachi

♥ It's Christmas all over the world! ♥

Hello budz! MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! =p

15 minutes to go and it's Christmas! hep hep... not here in Pinas but in NZ where My Love is. The thought makes me sad. Not being able to spend Christmas (and my birthday) with him but I know for sure that WE will come out stronger after this trial of time and distance. Enough of sad thoughts. For a brighter part of my life, my Ate gave me some dough just to go shopping with her earlier toay! Can you freaking believe that?! I can't believe myself! But shopping is shopping, I love it and so I enjoyed!

Aside from aguinaldos I'm giving away this season, I also gave myself some Christmas (and birthday) treats.

* black & white blouse *

* hand-sanitzer w/ moisturizer KIWI scent *
I miss NZ somehow.

* an everyday watch - my kind of watch,
interchangeable strap and face *
* sophie martin big brown bag for everyday use *

* manicure =p *

Today is also Nanay's (grandma, mother side) birthday. For Noche Buena and Christmas day itself, our family will shae together menudo, relyenong bangus (my request), buko slad, leche flan, spaghetti, carbonara (unsure), sisig, hamon de bola and some more goodie foodies.
We are also planning to visit Uno @ Las Pinas. I miss My Love so very much. It is so sad that we cannot celebrate together this year but we made a sweet vow, actually it's his vow that it's gonnab be THE LAST DECEMBER that we're apart from each other.

PS. Considering the 'deprivations' I experienced when I was abroad, it's just fair that I spent some dough for myself this time around. =p I know you agree with me, 'aight?!
Love You All Much!
Miss Sachi
