Do you know that, too much CALCIUM may result to memory impairment?
CALCIUM is involved in the transmission of messages along brain neurons in the portion of the brain thought to direct memory functions. It is possible that as we age Calcium flow into nerve cells increases, impairing the flow of messages. Possible implications: calcium-blocking drugs might be used to prevent memory loss, then too much calcium supplements may contribute to memory loss.
