If there's one book that really became one of my very firsts favorites, made me cry and brought me the desire to read & read some more, I guess it would be 13 is Too Young To Die by Isaacsen-Bright. It is a story of a 13 year old girl who was destined to face death at such a young age. I guess it caught my attention because I was nearly a teenager by the time I decided to read it. When I read it, unlike fairy tales, I felt the truth in every instance and in every word written in the book. How she tracked her hurting stomach, the discovery of her disease and finally how she faced death.
Sad to say, when we moved house, I forgot to track where this book has gone and nowadays it's out of print already. I'm also out-of-luck in finding it in 2nd hand book stores nor in available e-books on the net. I do recommend it for children as starters for a great, wide and fun learning experience called: READING.
