I've told you here about how I admire sakura or cherry blossom. Alas, I was able to see one personally a couple of weeks back at Welly's Botanical Garden. The Sakura tree was a gift/token given by one of Japan's previous prime ministers to NZ. Thus, it was alone where it's placed.
I relate myself to that Sakura, for quite awhile - alone in a foreign country. She might be just as lonely and homesick as I am.
It's probably one of the saddest things in life, being where you're not supposed to be.
